An Oasis of Art

Named for the artist Fernando Botero's belief that art should be an oasis, a refuge from the hardness of life, this home was shaped to hold that very feeling. Two adjoining Pune apartments merge into a single dwelling for a family of connoisseurs. Lime-washed walls, repurposed wada wood and antique columns form a mellow backdrop for a lifetime's collection, an urban sanctuary of art, design and tasteful living.
